Part-time Worship Leader Granada Hills Baptist Church
Granada Hills Baptist Church is looking for musically gifted and Christ centered individual to the worship ministry of this multi-ethnic congregation. The primary responsibilities of the part-time worship leader will be to lead in singing or playing in Sunday worship, and overseeing the worship/music ministries of the church. This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership, vision, and passion for Granada in the area of music worship ministries that is in line with the overall vision, purpose and mission of Granada.
Coordinate with the Senior Pastor and worship team to create and lead an engaging Sunday worship service. This includes leading the Sunday Worship services and overseeing the worship team (vocalists and instrumentalists).
Prepare for and lead rehearsals, as well as consulting with the Senior Pastor and technical director to coordinate the music for the Sunday service.
Assist in planning, implementing and leading worship for special events and services outside of Sunday worship.
Perform other duties related to position as assigned by the Senior Pastor
Continue to grow and mature as a godly person of integrity. Pursue being a Christ follower so that he/she can model and mentor what that is to those around him/her.
It is anticipated that the duties associated with this position will take approximately 8 to 10 hours per week.
Salary, negotiable based on experience and competitive with like positions in churches of similar size.
